Industry - the organized action of making of goods and services for sale
- persevering determination to perform a task
-he people or companies engaged in a particular kind of commercial enterprise
L
Lake - a body of (usually fresh) water surrounded by land
M
Manufacturing Industry - refers to those industries which involve in the manufacturing and processing of items and indulge in either creation of new commodities or in value addition. The manufacturing industry accounts for a significant share of the industrial sector in developed countries. The final products can either serve as a finished good for sale to customers or as intermediate goods used in the production process.
Market economy = is economy based on the power of division of labor in which the prices of goods and services are determined in a free price system set by supply and demand.
Meadow - a field where grass or alfalfa are grown to be made into hay
Mining - the act of extracting ores or coal etc from the earth
- laying explosive mines in concealed places to destroy enemy personnel and equipment
Mountainous = Submontane depressions depressions located near the mountains, the contact between them and lower regions (usually hilly) located nearby.
N
Nature reserve = A natural reserve area, well defined, which is preserved in its initial state a natural element.
Nuisances - harmful gases are emitted into the atmosphere, with a negative effect on human health
O
Occupied population = population is effectively geared into a business that receives income from it.
Orogeneza = N and rising phenomenon teresre crust.
P
Platform = (in the geological sense) - rigid structure of rocks, belonging to old continental substrates.
Pollution = initial composition change natural natural elements (air, water, soil) by introducing chemicals resulting from economic activities.
Polymetallic ores - is an ore that is the source of more than one metal suitable for recovery
Population density = number of inhabitants per unit area. = Mountainous depressions located inside the mountains and surrounded on all sides of them.
Potential possibilities of population = population of a country as a result of its numerical size.
Potential = ability river flowing waters (rivers, streams) to provide conditions for obtaining electricity in hidrocenrale.
R
Race = human concentrations larger than the rural areas, where the inhabitants is predominantly non-agricultural activities (services and industry). The city also has some specific features and influences the surrounding territory, closer or more distant
Raw material is something that is acted upon or used by or by human labor or industry, for use as a building material to create some product or structure
Reserves = Part of total reserves of natural resources about which there is reliable quantitative and qualitative assessments that can be exploited in terms of current technology.
Restructuring= Processing industry restructuring in current characteristics to the characteristics of market economy (which are usually related to efficiency).
Relief unit = relatively well marked stretch of other surrounding regions, with a range of landforms that are associated with space, territorial.
S
SAC - Special Areas of Conservation (in English, Special Areas of Conservation - SAC) are areas that are part of the Natura 2000 network under the Habitats Directive. SAC's are former SCI pSCI sites or sites.
SPA - Special Protection Areas Avifauninstice (in English, Special ProtectionAreas - SPA) are areas that are part of the Natura 2000 network under the Birds Directive.
Favorable conservation status - The Habitats Directive and the Romanian legislation:
A. A state of conservation of natural habitat is on all the factors acting on it and its characteristic species and which may affect long-term distribution, structure and function, and survival of species that are characteristic. Conservation status of a natural habitat is considered "favorable" when conditions are met:
* or natural area and it covers areas within this area are stable or increasing;
*specific structure and function is necessary for its long-term preservation and maintenance of their probability is high for the foreseeable future;
* are characteristic species are in a favorable conservation status, as it is defined below (Section B)
B. The conservation status of species is given by acting on all factors that can influence its long-term spread and abundance of species populations within the European Union. Conservation status is considered "favorable" when conditions are met:
* population dynamics data indicate that this species remains and is likely to maintain long-term as a viable component of its natural habitat;
* natural range of species is not reduced and no risk to reduce the foreseeable future;
SCI - Sites of Community Importance designated under the Habitats Directive.
